MENTORING
Are you looking for support as you navigate life, work and soul in these times of rapid change? Do you want your leadership, artistry, or activism to feel more alive, more easeful, more loving and more disruptive to the status quo?
For 25+ years I’ve worked at the messy, generative intersection of personal transformation, collective action, and systemic change. Through 1:1 mentoring, I accompany business and grassroots leaders, movement-makers and healers, artists and entrepreneurs to thrive. I love this work.
Clients have described our work together as “profoundly nourishing,” “life-changing,” “disruptive in the best way,” and “a space where the unsaid can finally breathe.”
“Toni has been accompanying me through a major professional transition. The process she brings open a treasure trove of insights I would not have arrived at alone. The spirit of curiosity and genuine openness with which she inquires creates the conditions for powerful learning and unlearning.”
“… she has the skill to zoom in & out, from the personal to planetary & again out to the political. Toni is a true interweaver with a real gift at understanding the wider picture, how our personal wellbeing is deeply entwined with social change, nothing is ever approached in isolation.”

WHO & HOW
-
I work with people across multiple sectors, internationally and close to home.
People come to me seeking a depth of presence that enables them to meet their own inquiries and edges, and to open to more resilience, creativity and capacity. Many sense that old maps of inner and outer change are failing and are seeking alternative ways to navigate these times.
Are you…
in a successful career that no longer feels aligned?
wanting to understand what’s blocking your flow?
longing to be less alone at the fertile margins of culture change?
wanting to strengthen your own muscles of presence, creativity and systemic awareness?
at a crossroads?
in a project that needs both practical design support + relational integrity?
ready to unlearn old patterns (often rooted in the wider systems of harm woven through modernity) and align even more with your values?
not quite sure what you need but you know there’s something there trying to emerge…?

Grounded in embodied presence, my practice often bridges the professional and personal and moves seamlessly between innner and outer change.
My approach is fed by diverse threads of knowledge across somatics and meditation, systemic power analysis and organisational development, deep ecology and ‘nature connection’. Rooted in curiosity, compassion and creativity I bring my experience working across change movements, radical (adult) education, and soul-based practices. I work responsively to what you bring, honouring your context and interest.
Themes I often work with include:
bridging radical and mainstream change practice
creativity and collective imagination
becoming re-connected as part of nature
race. whiteness and coloniality
the intersection of ‘mental health’ issues, collective trauma and the polycrisis
High Sensory Processing (HSP) as blessing and burden
climate and ecological grief
transitions and thesholds including menopause
I support you to be comfortable in discomfort, while also helping you sensitise to more beauty, connection, and joy. This work can be playful, straightforward and practical. It can go to the places most turn away from: the uncertainty, ambiguity, edge and heartbreak where transformation lives.

RELATIONAL ECONOMY
-
Money can be one of the trickiest and most revealing places we meet each other. It carries stories of worth, scarcity, privilege and care. It’s woven through with systems of inequity, and is also simply a tool to allow generosity to flow! As a place of experimentation, it’s a way to practice our values in action.
For decades I’ve been exploring this through sliding scales, ‘Dana’, barter, gift economies and different shapes of redistribution. My mentoring fees are part of that ongoing inquiry: designed to make this work available across a range of contexts, while also honouring the years of study and inquiry, plus the presence and emotional labour it takes to sustain this practice.
You may come from a sector where £350 a session (my organisational fee) seems modest, especially compared with executive coaches charging £1,000+. Or you may be used to community rates of £50 or less. Both reflect how the economic system allocates value, rather than what actually holds value.
My clients, regardless of sector, aren’t looking for generic coaching, they want the rigour of systemic thinking and nuance I offer, a trustworthy depth of sensory attunement, and the courage to go to places most professional development avoids. How do you price that?! This is where I’ve got to so far…
Sliding Scales
Whether you’re self-funding or supported by an organisation, I trust you to choose your place on the scale. Let the decision be an inquiry into how you balance value, resources, and frequency. If you’d like to think it through together, I’m happy to help.
Barter
Now and then I receive payment in kind: a skill, object, or service I genuinely need. Think cooking for events, social media support, a handmade meditation stool! If you have something to offer, ask!
